- Synopsis:
- Whoopi Goldberg stars as Clara, the Jamaican housekeeper who wins a lonely little white boy's heart in this tearjerker. When Clara arrives, David's parents are on the verge of divorce; they are so busy in therapy that they have no time for him. He initially mistrusts Clara because she is black and speaks differently, but soon their bond transcends prejudice.
