- A history of the famous Norton motorcycle. James Norton produced his first motorcycle in 1902 - it looked like a ordinary pedal bicycle with a Clement engine and a petrol tank bolted on. Later, he developed his own engine. Throughout the history of the company, they had a very competitive racing team taking many trophies and breaking many records.
