Classic Cars: Renault R8 Gordini (2009)

A profile of one of France's most iconic cars which was one of the forerunners in the small car market. The classic Renault 8 was first produced in France in 1962 and continued all the way through until 1971, but given the popularity of this car across Europe production continued until the mid 70's in Spain. The R8 Gordini enjoyed huge success in the world of rallying in the 60's when Renault powered the car with an '1100 and a 1300 engine.
