Classic Ford Cars (2003)

The Ford car has come a long way from the days of the Model T, when customers could have the car in any colour as long as it was black. Over the years, Ford has been responsible for some great cars. Names like Escort, Cortina, Executive, Consul and Zephyr evoke memories of bygone days. For this programme we sent our cameras to the Wroughton Nostalgia Show in Swindon to see one of the biggest classic car shows in the country. We found many famous models, some very rare, from the 1930s to the 1970s.
Travel back in time on a journey to when the roads were quieter and chrome, leather and walnut were the order of the day.
