- Shy, warm-hearted, good-looking Tim Dwight has two women crazy about him. One is a dream girl named Jill. The other is his mum. Brenda Blethyn teams with talented up-and-comers in this endearing comic gem and festival favourite. She plays Tim's mother Jean, a bawdy, aging comedienne who doesn't realise she's past her sell-by date for a big break.
