A prisoner is struggling to survive by brutal force alone in a slum in Braila. Codin (Alexandre Virgil Platon) is the bully who has spent 10 years in prison for killing a friend. He returns to his mother's house, but his stinginess makes him angry. Adrian Zografi is a child who looks at Codin and through the eyes of man sees the economic and social injustices from an adult's perspective. When Codin kills another man who has violated his trust, his mother becomes more mentally and paranoidly deregulated. Believing her son will steal her money, she plans to kill her only son. The child watches in horror and amazement the rough machinations of the adults around him.
