Two years after a comet strikes the earth, the sun has disappeared from the sky, food supplies are dwindling, the population has plummeted and a deadly disease has run rampant in a dark lawless world of scavenging and violence. The only hope for the survival of mankind lies within only seven humans called "Sources" who carry the antibody to the disease. In an already lawless world untold power and riches awaited whoever was first to locate and control these sources, or the protection and prosperity of mankind would prevail if the "Sources" were to be saved and nurtured by the only remaining well meaning individuals on the planet.
