- Synopsis:
- Arrested for public drunkenness, Clay Treyton (Kyle Chandler) strikes an officer and wins something for the first time in his life: a two-year stay in jail. A rough first week inside prompts Clay to get himself assigned to the prison ranch, run by Ry Weston (Jon Voight), a former rodeo champ who's serving life for murder. The younger inmate sets out to prove himself to Ry, hoping to compete next to him at the Tri-State Prison Rodeo. But when a ruthless drug runner interferes, Clay is pulled into a war as turbulent and deadly as the art of bullriding itself.
