- Synopsis:
The life, or lack thereof, of a proprietor of a gas station, which is the only stop for miles around and a hub of action on the Prairies...When Brent (Brent Butt) enters Lacey (Gabrielle Miller) into an eating contest, she shocks everyone by winning. Brent comes to regret giving Emma (Janet Wright) an MP3 player. Wanda (Nancy Robertson) and Hank (Fred Ewanuick) are involved in a vehicle war after a police auction...Self-service becomes the popular option at both Corner Gas and the Ruby, though Brent and Lacey's feelings towards this differ rather drastically. Meanwhile, Wanda aims to recapture her "rumor queen" days from high school...When New Year was near, everyone made their resolutions. Now, six months after, they shamelessly try to sabotage the resolutions of others. Oscar (Eric Peterson) has his own problems: he found out he never had Canadian citizenship, prompting Brent to call him an American.
