Synopsis:
James Levine conducts this Metropolitan Opera performance of Mozart's opera about officers in love with two sisters. Ferrando (Matthew Polanzani) and Guglielmo (Rodion Pogossov) are certain that their lovers Dorabella (Isabel Leonard) and Fiordiligi (Susanna Phillips) are faithful to them,but the cynical Don Alfonso (Maurizio Muraro) challenges them to a bet that the women will betray them given the chance. Amused,the men agree,but will they come to regret their decision?
