- Cougar Town is an American comedy series from Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence. Cougar Town follows Jules Cobb (Friends’ Courtney Cox) a middle aged divorcee who lives on a peaceful cul de sac who decides to re-enter the dating game and realises that younger men now see her as a beautiful older woman. As she begins to acclimates to this new environment she also has to contend with her teenage son, her man child ex husband and her antagonistic next door neighbour, a man also enjoying the perks that come with middle age dating.
