- On the other side of the seductive bright lights of Hollywood lies a decaying civilization where drugs, prostitution and violence are a way of life. Karen Shore (Pamela Dixon) is a police officer and suburban housewife with idealistic dreams of making L.A. a safe place to live. Karen's dreams are suddenly shattered by the tragic deaths of Fiona (Kita Harrison) and Angie (Tricia Parks), two street kids she takes into her home in an effort to rehabilitate. Karen Shore is finally faced with what could be the last great challenge of her life.
