Crocodile Tears (1997)

When Simon Desoto (Ted Sod) tests positive for HIV, he decides to send several letters to the devil asking for help - in particular, he wants to be healthy again. The devil ultimately comes through with a simple proposition, ensuring that Simon will return to his HIV-negative status if he agrees to become a homophobic stand-up comedian. Simon accepts and becomes the next big thing in Hollywood (with just a few skeletons in his closet).
