Former basketball star Laura is forced to take on the role of coaching her local team when their coach suffers a heart attack. When the team loses the next two games, the pressure on Laura accelerates. Things go from bad to worse when one parent loses control and viciously assaults a referee, and fans' malicious criticism becomes too much to bear. The tension culminates during the championship game, an argument erupts at half time and four parents are arrested for violent behavior. Refusing to take to the court again, the girls teach everyone a lesson in sportsmanship and prove that winning isn't everything.
