Synopsis:
A continuous timeline showing the final preparations before curtain-up of a typical amateur drama production at the Mitchell Memorial Theatre, Hanley. Four cameras capture all the action behind the scenes and front-of-house before a production of "A Party to Murder" by Newcastle Players. We see the continuous action in the male dressing room, female dressing room, backstage and front-of-house and dip into relevant conversations from each in turn. The four videos run as four pictures on screen, which is split into four parts throughout. The video ends with curtain-up and some final comments from the play's director, Ann McArdle.
