Professional Furniture maker and designer Paul Bradburn guides us through building some highly attractive furniture, this is woodworking with a designer twist. Paul provides interesting and somewhat "Bubbly" presenting, with many weird and quirky poses when making the furniture, Paul also provides some very useful "Hinty Tips" I must admit, I quite like this series although the how-to aspect is poor and the show is filled with silly effects and confusing camera work which doesn't let you see half of what he is doing, I feel it provides a fresh look on making some beautiful modem looking furniture from contemporary woods such as maple and ash. The show also provides insight into some great timber yards, and advice on costing and preparing the wood, how wood is processed and much more. Some interesting techniques which were used on this show to create curves, also decorative metal work on one piece which although out of most home woodworkers reach, I previously had no knowledge of such processes and this I found very useful indeed. Overall this program is good, It has given me some useful ideas on how I can make some really great contemporary furniture.
