Get set for a safari to family fun and adventure in the third season of Ivan Tors' amazing animal drama Daktari. The Wameru Study Center for Animal Behavior, ably led by Dr. Marsh Tracy (Marshall Thompson), continues in its quest to aid and understand African wildlife while protecting it from perils both natural and man-made. A pair of pretty special animals, Judy the Chimp and Clarence the cross-eyed lion, is still on hand to lend a hand (or a paw) to Wameru, so it's a good thing the center's staff still includes Marsh's daughter Paula (Cheryl Miller) and assistants Mike Makula (Hari Rhodes) and Jack Dane (Yale Summers). Among the adventures and encounters found in this 6-disc, 28-episode collection are an MIA astronaut chimp, a catnapped royal lion, a killer tribe that worships Judy the inseparable animal pair of Ethyl the hippo and Albert the donkey, a harem of lionesses for Clarence, an elephant stampede and a fake ape monster.
