- Synopsis:
- American mining engineer Rich Morgan (Billy Zane) is unexpectedly sucked into a vicious power struggle between corrupt politicians, murderous soldiers and desperate rebels when long-lost adventurer friend Jim Scott (Robert Downey Jnr.) arrives with barrels of toxic waste that he wants to dump in a disused mine. Hot on Scott's heels are a ruthless squad of mercenaries and in the ensuing bloodbath Scott is left, apparently dead and Morgan's career in tatters - blamed tor the horrific deaths of thousands from nuclear contamination. Morgan finds himself under threat, under lire and, quite possibly, six-feet under in the Danger Zone.
