Undoubtedly the highlight of the first series of 'Saturday Live', The Dangerous Brothers' brand of dodgy sleaze and ultraviolent slapstick saw them pass into comedy legend. Dynamite down the pants, flying zebras and the consumption of great quantities of Vim ensured that this unpredictable duo was an immediate and massive hit with the viewing public. Starring Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmondson (mid-odyssey between 'The Young Ones' and 'Bottom') as the low-life, pervert siblings, The Dangerous Brothers lifted comedy violence and all manner of unpleasantness to new levels - so much so that one of their sketches, cunningly entitled 'Kinky Sex', was banned by LWT on its initial transmission. Every Dangerous Brothers sketch is included here and sourced from the original master materials apart from 'Kinky Sex'. This particular edition can no longer be found in the archive (stolen by the Brothers themselves, perhaps?) and is included here from a domestic recording.
