- The film follows Mary’s journey from the green hills of her native Ireland, to the desert highlands of Ethiopia, and to London’s Chelsea, for the garden design competition in 2002. ‘Dare To Be Wild’ is an against-all-odds story of a modern-day heroine, whose quest is to show the world the power of nature - wild nature - one garden and one vast desert, at a time.
