When a group of six college friends (led by Jamie-Lynn Sigler) set off on a Spring Break road trip, they look forward to a weekend of drinking, dope smoking and partying. Meanwhile in a nearby mental institution, the notorious Carnival Killer - convicted of slaughtering twin girls in a fairground ride ten years before - brutally butchers his two guards and heads back to his Dark Ride ghost train. When the kids stop for gas at a highway service station, a terrifying chain of events is set into motion that will inevitable lead them to the demonic killer. Soon their fun becomes a blood-soaked nightmare and a battle to survive until morning amidst the several heads, spinning tunnels, witches lairs and haunted crypts that fill the Dark Ride.
