Synopsis:: Meredith Baxter plays Mary Ann, a nurse at a methadone clinic, who is haunted by the pain and misery of a troubled past. Humiliated, she hides behind a veil of drug addiction. When Mary Ann falls for one of her patients, Guy (Stephen Lang), her problems escalate. The two marry, determined to clean up their worlds, but the arrival of a baby boy sends their lives spiralling further downwards into a drug-induced nightmare that will strip away everything that Mary Ann has, including her family. But sometimes you have to strip away everything before you can find both the truth and a solution.
