'Googlewhack Adventure' is very much is the same mould and Dave Gorman's other shows the 'Important Astrology Experiment' and 'The Dave Gorman Collection' where Gorman has a tale to tell and presents it in a one man lecture style in front of a live audience. Where as he previous two shows have been in the format of a six part series, 'Googlewhack Adventure' is a one off two hour show. It's an incredible tale of how he was given an advance by a publisher to write a novel, but instead got sucked into the 'Googlewhacking' craze and blew his publishers advance travelling around the world meeting people through the Google search engine. My only criticism is that as a stage show it undoubtedly would have been an amazing night out, but as a two hour DVD it's a little on the long side, and as it's such a long and complex tale it really needs to be seen in one sitting. Overall though, it's a fun and interesting story made all the better for the manic and likeable way in which Gorman presents it, and you've got a couple of hours to spare it's well worth watching.
