This video selection contains 24 performances of 'David Bowie on the Box' , whereby everyone's all-time favourite show-off comes across doing perfectly what he always did so well. David Bowie's many television performances during his early career, allowed the public at large to witness what was going down, and in turn made the great man the universal superstar he became. Never afraid to use his image to sell his art, Bowie nevertheless always kept a sense of humour in how he presented things and never took himself too seriously, which was part of his huge attraction.
