Diddy David Hamilton is an accomplished broadcaster and DJ, hosting and performing for over 60 years - and still going strong today. David has worked for just about every major British broadcaster, and excels in his knowledge of pop music from the sixties to the eighties. Here he is joined by his old friend, former broadcaster, actor and DJ, the legendary Pete Murray. Pete began broadcasting on the BBC during World War Two, and was the first DJ anywhere in Britain or Europe to play rock and roll. Pete presented the first ever pop TV show in Britain, and is the last surviving member of the original set of presenters of 'Top of the Pops'. In this special programme filmed in the Autumn of 2020, David and Pete explore pop music from the late fifties and early sixties, and reminisce about their days presenting 'Top of the Pops'.
