Synopsis:
People change. This is something unavoidable, inescapable, inevitable. Each morning's daybreak brings that change in many forms. Here, four different lives entwine on a single day where challenges defy triumphs, hopes defeat heartaches and love proves greater than hate. Agnes (Pernilla August) and Rickard (Jakob Eklund) are in the final stages of a move to a new town, a new life. During this evening's pre-move farewell dinner, their lives and the lives of their best friends will be changed forever as some agonising revelations and painful truths are unearthed. Diligent bricklayer Anders (Magnus Krepper) works punishing double shifts to foster his family's happiness.
Tonight he gets an offer for a cash-in-hand job that he can't reject, despite an ultimatum that could cost him all he's worked for. Anita (Ann Petrén) has been a stranger to her ex-husband since he left to marry a woman 25 years his junior. But fate collides with both of them and as the night draws in, Anita is given the chance to find out what went wrong and get some deeply sought after answers. The longest and most important night of their lives is about to begin.
