- Synopsis:
- Death in Paradise is a BBC crime drama set on the fictional island of Sainte-Marie in the Anglo-French Caribbean where straight laced ex-Metropolitan police detective Richard Poole (Ben Miller) has been sent to solve the murder case of a fellow police officer. Upon solving the case however Poole is invited to become the local police’s senior detective but Poole finds his habits somewhat unsuited to the relaxed Caribbean lifestyle.
