- Synopsis:
- The spin-off from the highly successful "Death Note" movies featuring the character L - the enigmatic detective from those films. It chronicles the final 23 days of L's life, as he solves one final case involving a bioterrorist group that aims to wipe out much of humanity with a highly infectious virus. In doing so he takes the sole survivor of its test run in a Thai village, and a junior high schooler named Maki Nikaido under his wing. Is L's nemesis to be a man-made death?
