- Synopsis:
- Bonnie Bedelia plays Grace Mackenzie, a widow who after the death of her husband in a car crash is ordained by the Episcopalian Church. The car crash also left her daughter, Vera, in a wheelchair. When Vera joins a remote desert community led by Father Angel (Nick Mancuso), who also has a tight grip over the illegal immigrants living in the area, Grace follows her. However, despite his charlatan ways, she falls for Angel and finds herself beginning to question her own faith.
