- Ming the Merciless is poised to take over the world. Flash Gordon, the Phantom, Lothar, and Mandrake The Magician must all team up to stop him. They get some help from Rick Gordon (Flash's son). The Necklace of Oros would give the evil Ming his long-awaited wish of knowing the secret of gravity. If it fell into his hands the Earth would be in great danger. Flash and Prince Barin must once more use the forces of good to combat the powers of evil.
