In his directorial debut, Gael Garcia Bernal (The Motorcycle Diaries) plays Christobal, a pleasant, complacent rich kid who appears to have everything at his fingertips: wealth, a place at Harvard Business School, a girlfriend and popularity. At his fathers weekend house, Cristobal plays host to a group of friends, one of whom has brought along Dolores, an Argentinian beauty he hopes to seduce. However, over the course of one increasingly disastrous day, Cristobals cool certainties are utterly dismantled.
