From 1995-97, Dennis Pennis was the UK's first celebrity interviewer from hell. From behind the respectability of a BBC microphone, this punkoid Woody Allen would stalk the pampered world of the rich and famous and cut them down to size, pouncing with intimate, juvenile or downright rude questions. If the celebrity world is a swimming pool, Dennis was a veruka waiting to happen.
