Design 3 (2009)

Placing the art of design in its sociological and technological context, this documentary tells the story of 20th century design through the industrial objects that have become icons of their time, reflecting their own era while simultaneously anticipating the future. Objects included in this instalment are: the Pouf Sacco chair, the Algol Television, the Fauteuil Paimio chair, the Sony Walkman, the Valentine portable typewriter and the E Type Jaguar.
