- Synopsis:
- Kiefer Sutherland stars as Tom Kirkman, a lower-level cabinet member who is suddenly appointed President of the United States after a catastrophic attack on the US Capitol during the State of the Union. Completely unprepared, the new Commander-in-Chief must struggle to hold together a country on the brink of imploding - against a chaotic backdrop of shocking conspiracies, thinly veiled agendas and raw emotions - whilst leading the search to find who is responsible for the attack.
