Mussa (Armand Assante) is determined to purchase a cut diamond 'Star of East' from the Hong-Kong triad crime boss 'Mr. Lo' (Don Wilson) and sent out his right hand 'Olechka' to accomplish the deal. Ruslan' who had gotten employed by the casino's security pool, was in secret trying to search out his beloved Aliya (Karlygash Mukhamedzhanova). At his first day of work as a security guard, Ruslan (Aleksey Frandetti) had to go to the deal with Mr. Lo's errand men. At the venue these people got attacked by Arman (Nurlan Altaev) and Aliya. They had been serving to Khazar (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa), who in the past used to be Arman's father's friend. It was Khazar who redeemed Aliya's debt and converted that unsophisticated girl who had been working as a casino dealer into the contract killer. In the process of the robbery attack all the gangsters got killed. Arman assigned his subordinates to finish off all he injured men, but Aliya recognized her sweetheart 'Ruslan' among the wounded ones - Ruslan and Aliya were bound by romance from childhood up. But Aliya was forced to abandon him unwillingly to avoid pulling Ruslan into that vortex of crimes. She could not gun down her beloved man. Arman made up his mind to flee from Khazar that night, he stole Khazar's monies, precious stone and suggested Aliya to escape with him. But Aliya escaped alone and put out Khazar's money of sight in the car's trunk. Mussa immediately figured out who was the mastermind of the entire robbery. Being convinced that they had broke off the gangsters Aliya and Ruslan rented an apartment in Aktau where they got a short rest, but their brief relaxation was interrupted by the appearance of Cube, who in a mysterious way figured out their whereabouts. Again the young couple were chased and tried to escape. At last Aliya and Ruslan found a shelter in Booksir's hut, uncle Batyr's old friend who would agree to help to ferry the young people across the sea abroad. But Arman with his gangsters found the old man's hut and the final payoff took place and sudden turnaround of events occurred.
