- Synopsis:
- 15 Thrilling Chapters of Adventure! Zarnoff (Irving Pichel), an international spy in the employ of The Three Powers is captured by Dick Tracy (Ralph Byrd), tried and sentenced to death. However, through the use of a rare drug embedded by his agents in his evening newspaper, he escapes from the execution. His men pick up his body; by ambushing the hearse and administering another counter-drug. Zarnoff continues his evil plans, whilst taking the opportunity to seek revenge on Dick Tracy. A staple of Saturday morning cinemas in the USA and the UK, released on the day World War Two started, this thrilling Republic serial reflects the real-life antics of spies at the time.
