Just like the overrated The Bridge, this is massively style over substance. and with some really terrible psychology. She flips out on her boyfriend because he has (just) been through a huge trauma (that is outside of her experience ) and wont "let her in" like a psychotically spoilt idiot she demands he should confide in her, so she sleeps with another man!!!! is this yet another conspiracy to make "modern women" into monsters???? and this kind of rude obnoxious behaviour is supposed to be a good thing?
The test should be , if the genders are reversed does it still look ok. most of the time lately then not. If the husband in killing eve had hit her because he decided to change his life , wouldn't people think that was terrible? It feels bizarre to have to analyse media like this but some people do use media for social engineering.
