- Synopsis:
- Set in contemporary society in Mauritius, the film is a sensitive story about love and human emotions and revolves around the family of Shekar Sinha (Amitabh Bachchan) with the relationship between his son lai (Karan) and Sophie Besson (Anabelle Wallis) being at the heart of the movie. The story is an inspired adaptation of C'est La Vie, a very successful French television series and the film has been shot in some of the most picturesque locations in the world, including Mauritius and Stockholm, which provides a dramatic backdrop to this refreshingly charming film.
