- Synopsis:
- UK comedy series starring Victoria Wood and Julie Walters about a group of dinnerladies at a canteen in a factory in Manchester. The show follows this eclectic group of employees as they cope with life as dinner ladies as well as the many problems in their own lives. The show follows Bren (Wood) and her relationship with disenfranchised canteen manager Tony (Andrew Dunn). The series also looks at Bren’s relationship with her mother (Walters), a terrible mother who abandoned Bren years previously.
