Synopsis:
Rising from the ashes of riots, police corruption and infamous gang wars comes the raw, hard-edged story of a gangbanger-turned-cop who is forced to choose between his conscience and his loyalty to the Code of Blue all in the course of one day. Recruited into an undercover, rogue, anti-gang unit of the LAPD at only 28 years old, Armando Sancho (Clifton Collins Jr.) brings his street smarts onto the force that he has sworn to protect. With his partner Salim Adel (Cuba Gooding Jr.), the two patrol LA's streets the only way they know how - with force. But there is nothing more dangerous than a gangster with a badge and when the two come under fire, only one will come out alive.

Training Day wannabe - Dirty review by AER

Spoiler Alert
18/12/2023

Cuba Gooding jr should have his Oscar confiscated. For his part in this and The Devil's Tomb, he owes me a lot of good will. Hahaha. Backed up by the usually excellent Cliton Collins (who's been left stranded with an appalling script) there is nothing here but warmed up scenes that could've been deleted from Training Day or End of Watch. It's pretty unwatchable as this badly made dirty LA cops movie squanders good actors, a decent score and OK plot. Fans of director David Ayer (Fury / Dark Blue / Sabotage / End of Watch / Training Day (Script)) would do best to avoid this DTV rip-off which centres around an awful central role (how many times can CBjr say Mo Fo in one minute? I counted 41 at one point).

This sh*t is wack. Avoid.
