Rent Distant Shores: Series 2 (2008)

Following the demise of Tom, the newspaper editor and owner of Hildasay, the future of the residents is thrown into turmoil. The arrival of the mysterious Christine further adds to the intrigue. Bill Shore (Peter Davison) quickly realises that he has history with Christine and with the collapse of his London business he struggles to rebuff her advances. Meanwhile Bill's wife Lisa (Samantha Bond) has her own problems when Kate announces she is pregnant but refuses to name the father. When Christine's plans are revealed the future of the Island is on a knife edge but will it offer Bill and Lisa the chance to finally find happiness.
