- Dollhouse is an American science fiction drama series starring Eliza Dushku (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and created by Joss Whedon (The Avengers) about an illegal underground facility that traffics in lives thanks to a machine that gives people the ability to imprint any personality into a host body for any kind of situation from sex to street fighting. The series follows Echo , an active who begins to remember some of the lives she has lived through the machine while she continues to be imprinted for the Dollhouses agenda under the strict rules of Adele DeWitt (Olivia Williams) .
