Beaches, boys and bikinis beckon. It's summer vacation and Mom is leaving for a two month trip to Australia and Sue Ellen (Christina Applegate), couldn't be happier. That is, until she realises that her and her four brothers and sisters have been left in the hands of 'Mary Poppins goes to boot camp' style babysitter Lil. As life become almost unbearable, the unexpected happens, Lil drops dead! Anxious not to spoil their mother's holiday or their adult-free summer, the kids dispose of the body at the local cemetery, unknowingly disposing of all the cash their mother left them in Lil's purse. They're broke and they're hungry. Somebody has to get a job. Sue Ellen is pretty sure that being an adult is going to be a piece of cake when she lands a job at a glamorous fashion agency, but it soon becomes clear that being a grown-up isn't going to be nearly as much fun as she'd hoped! - Actors:
