- Synopsis:
- New York Police Detective Ray Pluto (Denis Leary) is a good cop with a bad back. Then everything changes when Pluto gets a "Double Whammy". His back has a spasm during a robbery and a six year old picks up his gun and saves the day. The boy becomes an instant hero and media darling, while Pluto becomes the joke of the police force, nicknamed the "loser cop". The make matters worse his boss puts him on restricted duty until his back is fixed. At the suggestion of his partner (Steve Buscemi) Pluto seeks help from a beautiful Chiropractor (Elizabeth Hurley). Can Ray win the affection of the chiropractor and solve the crime?
