- Nathan ( Stephan Bender) and his family move to the sweltering bayous of the rural South to start a new life. When he meets, charismatic next-door neighbour Roy (Maximillian Roeg), the pair strike up a friendship as school study partners, a close bond that soon evolves into a series of passionate after-school encounters. Try as they might, the boys arc unable keep their love for one another a secret from those around them, and as tensions escalate, Nathan confronts the demons of his past, while Roy must make the ultimate sacrifice.

Wasn’t too bad until the ridiculous ending! - Dream Boy review by TB
This was a rather tender and okay (without being amazing) story of young love between two lads. One of which had an abusive home life but found love and happiness in the farm boy next door.
However, with about 20 minutes of the film left it turned completely bonkers and into some sort of a horror, come thriller, come I don’t know what!!! Did the director pop an acid tab for the final scenes. Left me baffled.
