Troubling takeaway - Dreamchild review by JM

Spoiler Alert
05/10/2020

One reviewer said the film feels like a TV movie - that's true. The acting is good. There are two storylines worth mentioning - one about Lewis Carrol's relationship with the real Alice, the other about a reporter doing whatever it takes to get a story. Both of them seemed to romanticise sexual exploitation - of children and of young women.
