Synopsis:: Arrogant son of a wealthy, blind woman, rapes his mother's nurse and abandons her. She gets pregnant but the child does not live, and she continues to live her life and follow up on her love life, only to face the past, and her "reformed" rapist. Excellent acting scores by the entire cast, and a storyline that may be offbeat for it's time. Songs are excellent too, especially: "Ik haseen shyam ko dil mera kho gaya..."; "Aap ne apna banaya, meherbani aapki..."; "Maine rang di aaj chunariya sanja thoreh rang ki...".
