"D'Unbelievables" enjoyed almost cult status in their heyday with their high-energy live shows travelling around Ireland entertaining many with glimpses inside the surreal, slightly creepy and downright hilarious side of Irish rural society. Originally formed in the late '80s in Limerick, Jon Kenny and Pat Shortt created their sometimes scandalous, always uproarious on-stage characters in 'D'Unbelievables' to wickedly echo those to be seen on every street corner and in every pub in Ireland. After touring extensively all over Ireland for almost a decade both men went their separate ways in 2000, exploring independent careers in TV, movies and music. Up until now, a comeback was usually given a "never say never" response when either Pat or Jon were asked, but they both now the time is right. In 2011 Jon Kenny and Pat Shortt decided to reunite for a one off national tour of the award winning hit show "One Hell of A Do". This hilarious comedy celebrates the unique talent of Ireland's most famous wedding/pub band 'Tom and Gerry - D'Unbelievables', who on receiving the award the 'Golden Microphone of the Year Award for the best amateur wedding/pub band in Ireland' recall the hilarious happenings during the day of the Donoghue Wedding. The show was filmed in front of a Live Audience in the Royal Theatre, Castlebar in 2011.
