- Synopsis:
- Former soldier Pike (Martin Sheen) and his fur trapper friend Henry (Harvey Keitel) find themselves ambushed and pursued by White Bull (Sam Waterston). With Henry dead, Pike is left alone to fend for himself in the wilderness in his struggle against White Bull. To survive in this harsh environment in post civil war America a man needed a horse, not just any horse, but a truly great one, "Eagle's Wing" is such a horse. But who will prevail, Pike or White Bull?
