Earthquake (2011)

Multi-narrative disaster movie directed by Juan Pablo Ternicier. Inspired by the 2010 Chile earthquake and resulting tsunami,the film follows a number of people as they come to terms with the damage caused by the natural disaster. Alicia (Andrea Freund) travels from Pichilemu to Dichato in the hope of finding her sons who are on vacation; while an escaped convict,Carlos (Fernando Gómez Rovira),seeks to reunite with his daughter who was in the Alto Rio building when it collapsed; and a group of young teens (Loreto Aravena,Eduardo Paxeco and Andrés Reyes) struggle to cope with the ensuing carnage after the tsunami destroys their surroundings.
